Ken J.A. Griffin, MA, RMC is a dynamic and accomplished healthcare executive with over 18 years of experience in healthcare and social services, specializing in executive leadership and management. As the President and CEO of Care Alliance Health Center, Ken brings a deep passion for improving healthcare access, particularly for underserved populations, and has built a reputation for innovative leadership that drives meaningful change. His career spans leadership roles in nonprofit and public health sectors, where his strategic vision and operational expertise have been essential in navigating organizations through challenging times.

Michael J. Cleveland, MPH

Chief Operating Officer

Michael J. Cleveland, MPH, is a visionary healthcare leader with over seven years of experience advancing public health equity and innovation. A graduate of Tougaloo College and Morehouse School of Medicine, he led city-wide COVID-19 vaccination efforts that reached over 60,000 people and launched a Community Health Worker program engaging 2,000 individuals in its first year. As President of the UNCF National Alumni Council, Michael advocates for equity in education and inspires future leaders. Now Chief Operating Officer at Care Alliance Health Center, he drives accessible, community-focused healthcare with excellence and purpose.

Luther Walls, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Luther Walls, MD, is Chief Medical Officer at Care Alliance Health Center, dedicated to improving healthcare equity and addressing social determinants of health. A graduate of the University of Chicago and Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, he completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Illinois Chicago, where he served as Inpatient Chief Resident. Dr. Walls has provided holistic care in chronic disease management, substance use disorders, prenatal care, and pediatrics, and his leadership roles include Associate Medical Director at IMAN Health Center. An advocate and researcher, he is recognized for his work on emergency department utilization post-Affordable Care Act implementation. At Care Alliance, Dr. Walls is committed to expanding access to quality care and advancing equity-driven healthcare solutions for underserved communities.

Derrick Howell, MBA

Chief Financial Officer

Derrick Howell, MBA, is a financial executive dedicated to advancing organizational sustainability and empowering communities through strategic leadership. With roles at The Economic Club of Chicago and Black and Pink Inc., he has driven fiscal accountability, operational efficiency, and mission-focused impact. Derrick holds an MBA from Purdue Global University and is pursuing a doctorate in financial literacy’s role in education. Known for his collaborative leadership, he is passionate about financial education and equity. As CFO of Care Alliance Health Center, he promotes sustainable practices to improve health outcomes for underserved communities.

Angela Anderson

Chief Human Resource Officer

Angela Anderson joined Care Alliance Health Center in April of 2021. Angela is a seasoned human resources (HR) executive who has over 25 years of HR experience in healthcare and manufacturing. Angela has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and is a Certified Employees Benefits Specialist. She provides strategic leadership to senior management regarding culture, organizational design, benefits, compensation, and talent management. Before Joining Care Alliance Health Center, Angela worked as an HR leader for AT&T Wireless and Mace Security International.

David Siegel

Chief Information Officer

David Siegel is a seasoned technology professional with over 25 years of experience in the technology field. After leaving Progressive Insurance David entered the non profit world to find opportunities to help organizations through the benefits of technology. David has led many initiatives including ERP and EMR rollouts, virtual and cloud migrations as well as onboarding organizations to using networks and shared resources. From 2003 until joining Care Alliance David has held the title of Director of Information Technology at Eliza Bryant Village. David joined Care Alliance as Chief Information Officer in October of 2021.

Chineze Enwonwu, DMD

Chief Dental Officer

Dr. Enwonwu “Dr. E.” serves as Care Alliance Health Center’s Chief Dental Officer. She has been with Care Alliance since 2016 and has worked in both private and corporate dental practices. Dr. E is a graduate of John Carroll University, and Case School of Dental Medicine (’10). Dr. E also completed a 2- year post graduate General Practice Residency at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
